my person experience with every single axle trailer i have towed 2 boats, 2 utilities, motorcycle trailer, few others fact is they very rarely follow straight at 45+mph if your tire/rim wobbles at that speed then i would look at bearings, seals, rims, axle. tri-axle trailers i dont even need to try they pratically back up themselves.Īs to your sway it can be a number of things like your trailer is not close to level the front end is to high. first they very rarely like to back up straight and second if you blow a tire or it falls off going down the road your f***d! where as my tandom is a dream backing up and if i blow/lose a tire i can limp it a few miles if need be.
